Clean out your closets and earn money back on your own gently used children's clothes, baby equipment, furniture, toys, and maternity clothing. Consignors earn 70%of their total sales and get to shop before the public!

Payments Accepted: CASH or CHECK (with accompanying ID) There will be a $25.00 return check fee.

WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIGN WITH SILVER LINING?
• We accept the current season of clothing.
• We accept all tags, with the execption of sticker tags. (Provided the tag has
all required information)
• NO barcodes required
• Convinient location of over 4000 sq ft.
• Participants are only required to work a 2 hr shift. (Most sales require at least
a 4 hour work shift)

Guidelines for participants:

• Each consignor who works a 2 hour shift will receive 70% of their total sales.
• Any consignor not working a 2 hour shift will receive only 50% of their total
sales.
• There will be a $12.00 participation fee for all consignors. This will be due
upon sign-up.

Consignor Payment:

You will receive your check approximately one week after the sale. Please make sure that the address that you provided is correct.

Presale Event:

This event will be held on Thursday September 16th from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
You will receive a pre-sale invitation upon the drop-off of your items. You must have this with you in order to attend the pre-sale event.
This event is for Consignors ONLY. No guests or children will be allowed!

Drop Off Times:

Please schedule to drop off your items. The following dates and times are available:

Tuesday, September 14th from 5:00pm-9:00pm
Wednesday, September 15th from 10:00am-6:00pm
Thursday, September 16th from 10:00am-3:00pm


Suggestions when dropping off your items:

• When you arrive, please sign in before unloading your items.
• Items will be thoroughly inspected to ensure the highest quality. We reserve the
right to reject any item that may not sell based on style or quality. Please do
not be offended if we ask you to take some of your items back
• If you can help put your items out, it will help tremendously!
• We ask that you have your items sorted by gender and size.

**YOUR ITEMS MUST BE SORTED BY GENDER AND SIZE UPON ARRIVAL. If not, you will be asked to reschedule your drop off time.

Pick up Times:

• Saturday, September 18th , from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Any items not picked up by 5:00 pm will be donated to a local charity. NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Only clothes will be organized by consignor ID# for your convenience. If you are having a friend pick up your items be sure and tell them to look for non-clothing items, which will not be sorted by seller number.

What to Bring:

We want to be known for having high quality merchandise. We also want our customers to have confidence that they are buying the best at Silver Lining . Please look at the items you bring as if you were going to purchase them. Great selling items are name brand items, items from boutiques, maternity, and baby equipment.
• Current season clothing
• Top quality, new or gently used Children's clothing, Sizes 0-16. We also have Junior sizes, as we realize some "preteens" wear them. ADULT CLOTHING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Clothing must be in style and have NO stains, holes, broken zippers, missing buttons…etc. Clothes that do will be pulled off the racks.
• Shoes—Only shoes in like new condition are accepted.
• Halloween costumes will be accepted at the Fall Sale.
• Baby furniture and bedding (must be thoroughly cleaned).
• High quality indoor or outdoor toys, books, games and movies - all battery operated toys MUST HAVE batteries in them and work (toys must be thoroughly cleaned).
• Maternity clothing of all seasons—in style and in great condition.
• Baby equipment—car seats, pack-n-plays, strollers, high chairs, diaper genies…etc. (must be thoroughly cleaned.)
• We DO NOT accept used underwear, used socks, used burp cloths, or bibs.

Carseats must meet this criteria to be accepted:

• It cannot be sold if it has been in a wreck. DO NOT BRING.
• Absolutely cannot have missing parts
• Cannot be more than five (5) years old. After five years, the straps have weakened in strength and are not guaranteed to hold up in the event of a wreck
• Must be clean - no stains.
• Cannot be recalled! Check www.carseat.org for recall information.

In order to ensure the quality of items sold, we will inspect items when you deliver them and only accept those that meet the above criteria. Please do not be offended if we ask you to take some of your items back. We will be screening items closely to maintain the quality of the sale. We will do our best to insure that your items are taken great care of, however Silver Lining, Staci Wyatt, Felisha Rhodes, or the location of the sale will not be liable for any damage to your items beyond their control: fire, tornado, flood, theft, loss, damages, etc.



Tagging Instructions


Tagging Information:

• Upon registration you will be assigned a consignor number. (If you have a consignor number from a sale other than Silver Lining, you may be able to use that number if it hasn’t already been taken.) This number will need to be attached to every item you bring. Items not tagged properly will not be allowed in the sale.
• ALL previous consignment tags will be accepted if that consignor # is available.
• No corrections will be allowed on the tags. Items with corrections on the tags will not be sold. (This is for your protection).
• When pricing, a good rule of thumb is 1/4 – 1/3 of the retail price. Just remember these 4 letters: W.W.I.P. (What Would I Pay?)
• Please price in whole dollar increments. No items under $1.00.
• Be sure to place a red dot(•) to the right of the price if you do not want your item sold at half price during the half price sale. If there is a red dot next to the price it will be sold at the full asking price, even at the half price sale.


Tagging Clothing:

• All clothes should be wrinkle free and on hangers. On garments, attach tag with a safety pin near the upper right side of the garment. All garments should be hung with the hook facing left like a question mark. See diagram at the bottom of page. Children’s hangers work best and can be purchased inexpensively at Wal-Mart or discount stores.
• If you have a 2 piece set, please pin the pants on the outside of the shirt in the back and attach to hanger if possible. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Tagging other items (toys, books, equipment, and small items)

• Must be clean and in working order (batteries included). We cannot accept items if they are not in working order. Please do not be offended if we ask you to take some of your items back.
• Attach tag securely to the item using tape or safety pin.
• Place any loose parts in a ziploc bag and attach to the main item with heavy packing tape.
• Tape the bag's zipper to keep small hands out. If parts get separated it will not sell.
• Books, videos & small items can be placed in ziploc bags with the tag inside the bag. For books, you may use masking tape to securely attach the tag to the outside.
• Please be neat when tagging items. We will not accept any tags that have been crossed out or scribbled on. So if you mess up, please make a new tag.
Tagging Shoes Instructions
• Connect the shoes with ribbon or plastic ties which can also be purchased at Wal-Mart in the automotive dept.
• Another option, put shoes in a Ziploc bag. Use packing tape and tape across the zipper of the bag so the pair stays together. Tape the consignment tag to the outside of the bag.
